KERF FURNITURE

Spring 2020
Studio Design II

A modular furniture system made out of 2x6 plywood boards that are bent using a kerf pattern. Using velcro straps, the bent board is secured onto a straight board known as the “motherboard.” The resultant is a multi-functional furniture system. Continuing, the furniture can aggregate to form play spaces, shaded rest stops, and stands.
