COMMUNITY KITCHEN

Fall 2019
Studio Design II

A multifunctional building featuring three typologies:
A community kitchen, grow house, and dining room. Through collage, montage, and exquisite corpse transformations, precedent plans and sections were transmuted based on inserted functional objects. The end result is a reconciled volume that connects all three types: A floating garden inside of a casted hanging bowl unified by a striated roof and deep beam structure.
